Our mission, as the Catholic Community of St. John the Evangelist Parish served by the Congregation of the Resurrection, is to be loving and faithful followers of Jesus Christ by living the gospel message and proclaiming the Good News. We work together with the Congregation to be messengers of hope in bringing about the resurrection of society through our spiritual practices, our ministries, and our outreach to the poor and marginalized.
The celebration of the Eucharist is the center of our faith community where Jesus nourishes us and fills us with the Holy Spirit. We are a Eucharistic community that joyfully welcomes, encourages, and supports each other as we strive to grow in our Lord`s image. Together we are committed to living the discipleship of Jesus Christ, to passing our faith to all, especially to our young people, and to growing in holiness, prayer, faith, and love.
We trust God will guide and strengthen us to remain faithful to our mission of spreading the Good News. Experiencing the unconditional love of God, we journey in faith and reach out to share the hope, joy, and peace of Christ`s Resurrection with all those we meet in our daily lives.
